The 2026 class from Washington State is stacked. Led by verbal commitments from [player_tooltip player_id='28191' first='Hailey' last='Perkins'], [player_tooltip player_id='121229' first='Anna' last='Babcock'], [player_tooltip player_id='28444' first='Sydney' last='Scott'], [player_tooltip player_id='111535' first='Summer' last='Murphy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='28158' first='Ella' last='Bach'] to Harvard, Penn State, Santa Clara, Washington and Clemson respectively. All these elite athletes have something in common, they all play for XF Academy ECNL. There must be something in the water over there in Redmond, Washington.

Though the recruiting efforts of the 2026 class may be winding down for some programs, there are still many colleges looking for talent to fill their remaining spots prior to signing day in the fall. While college programs are ramping up their 2027 recruiting efforts, they will still be keeping their eyes open for talented 2026 athletes at ALL the remaining ECNL and GA showcase events. Local college coaches will also be out and about at league games to make sure there aren't any athletes they may have missed. These will be some of the many opportunities to shine for the uncommitted class of 2026. It is far from over for these athletes that are striving to test themselves at the next level!

Tatum is a gamer. Her speed and ability to retain possession on the dribble sets her apart from her peers. When it comes to scoring goals, you could say that she is an SME (Subject Matter Expert)! With over 100 goals scored in her High School career thus far, she has the ability to finish from every angle possible. She has top level speed and cut moves that have defenders scrambling to contain her. Shot placement is on point. GK's struggle to make decisions when she is in the box and has a tendency to make them look silly. Jackson has all the ability and experience to be placed in high stress situations and be successful. The collegiate program that gets this athlete signed will be securing a top-level goal scorer for years to come!

Energy is the key to Ella's success. When the ball is around her, special things happen. This multi tool athlete can beat you in so many ways. 1v1, crosses, shots from distance, or her edge speed. As they say, speed kills and Ella has a long list of offenses. Ella's intelligence to transition from attacking to stopping counter attacks in her own attacking third is impressive. Teams struggle to move play away from her because of the pressure she puts on defenses. That is only successful because of her energy and non-stop motor. Coates is a solid lock to be an elite talent in college. She still has 1.5 ECNL seasons and a HS season to continue to show why she is the top ranked uncommitted forward in the 2026 class per Prep Soccer. Don't miss on this one!

Mattie is a true defensive minded player that has the aggressiveness and skill to also be a dominate attacker. She can play the back line and also thrive in the midfield. Her silky touch into space has her racking up the assists while she is also looking to take chances at goal when in position to. Gillaspy seeks contact and puts attackers on their heels with her fierceness. Mattie comes from a family of athletes that know what it takes to win. That is all she knows and all she seeks. When you combine Mattie's powerful shots and set pieces with her defensive confidence and expertise, you have yourself a ready-made college athlete. Gillaspy will continue to outclass her peers and show why she is ready to take the next step.

Aubrey is a strong player who has consistently developed her game to be considered among the top uncommitted forwards in the 2026 class. This hard working forward pushes herself and her teammates to put quality performances on the pitch. Carlson is a cheeky player who uses a variety of skill moves and savviness to gain separation in traffic. She has a strong leg that has an eye for the back of the net. Though scoring is a great quality she possesses, she has top notch crossing abilities that she showcases every match. Aubrey continues to show out in HS and Club and will make a college program better when she is given the opportunity to represent the school and prove she is the right fit for their future success.

This defender is a problem in the making. Mischa is a physical defensive back that has great vision and ball movement. She is not intimidated by pressure and almost seems to welcome it. Horton has great clearance abilities with her feet and head under pressure. Her spatial awareness is fantastic and understands her attack angles well. She holds a very high 50/50 win percentage and uses her aggressive nature to stop counter attacks before they can develop. Unfortunately, Mischa sustained an ACL injury in the recent STL ECNL showcase that will sideline her during this pivotal recruiting window. She will assuredly come back stronger and be ready to show that her dominate defensive form will be very useful for the college program that takes a chance on this gem.
