About Jon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a captain in the field and a very supportive player helping whenever I’m on the bench or on the field. I would describe myself as a more defensive and physical player. My primary positions are CB, RB, and LB, but I can play wherever the coach puts me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very focused, energetic, a good teammate/ captain, leadership, hardworking player, cheerful, and smart player on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor Roll, Principal Honor Roll, and Kids of Character.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership, teamwork, determination, and intelligence on the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges was injuring my collarbone while captaining my team at the Dallas SuperCopa. I was sidelined for nearly a year, watching from the sidelines while my age group continued to progress. But I used that setback as motivation I worked hard to catch up, rebuild my strength, and come back even stronger. It reminded me how much I love the game and what I’m willing to do for it.
