Shang was an absolute beast for the Earthquakes today. He has an incredible engine and is so smooth in possession. Shang has the ability to beat his man in tight spaces and drive forward with the ball from his central midfield role. He is a menace defensively constantly making his opposition feel him. Really good timing and weight on his passes.

Shang had an excellent showing and has really improved since he moving from Bay Area Surf to the Earthquakes Academy. His decision making is top notch and you can’t really tell if he’s left or right footed. He is so good on the half-turn and the weight he plays through balls with is exceptional. Great athlete and transitions really quickly top player with endless potential.
