Boston 2021 Preseason All-Metro Girls

In this article:
Thanks to the New England Prep schools, specifically the ISL teams, the Boston area is one of the most talented all-metro areas in the country.
Of course, it was a bit tricky naming this year’s group since the Preps did not hold a season last year and the state association schools played an abbreviated schedule with no state playoffs. Still, it’s easy to ID many of the top projected players since so many have committed to major college programs.

is part of a Buckingham Browne & Nichols program that is simply loaded. In fact, it very well could be the best overall high school team in the nation. Supplee, who played a role in the team’s 2019 NEPSAC Class A title, has committed to Michigan. ... If BB&N doesn’t have enough firepower in the attack with Supplee, add in Virginia commit

MIDFIELDERS: Danvers senior Arianna Bezanson scored 22 goals and added six assists to help the squad to an 11-0 showing in 2020. She has committed to Colgate. Bezanson was a Boston Herald and Boston Globe All-Scholastic pick in 2020. ... Whitman-Hanson senior

. The Penn State commit is one of the nation’s top seniors. She’ll likely see a lot of time in the midfield for BB&N, but has played defender, as well. In either case, she’s been an impact player since her freshman year and that should continue in 2021. ... Tabor Academy senior Claudia Rogers will be counted on to keep this team in the playoff hunt. In recent years, Tabor has been known for its offensive prowess, thanks to players such as Cat Berry (South Carolina) and Jaydah Bedoya (UConn). But now it might be time to lean on the defense with Rogers.
GOALKEEPER: Noble and Greenough junior Eliza Teplow is touted as the top returning keeper in 221 despite the ISL not playing last school year.
