About Cameron

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a good vision for the game. I have a really good first touch and can find my teammates with passing. I do a good job at finishing as well and can create my own chances when it comes to scoring. I have a strong work ethic in the midfield when I play there getting up and down the field. I feel like I lead by example on the field with my play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I want to win games when I play. I want to work hard for my team so I can put the team in the best possible position to win games. I will do the little things in order to help my team win. I don't ever want to be out worked on the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was apart of the OHTSL Leadership Committee before entering high school. With my club soccer schedule it does make it hard to join other things at this moment but I am looking to do some other things before high school is over.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I help volunteer coach our youth travel club here in Aurora when I can and help with footskills with the club.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This past club season playing for North FC I am a 2008 and I was playing with the 2006 group this club season. That was an adjustment playing against kids that were older and bigger. It was tough at first but I adapted well and made an impact on the club season for my team and advancing to Regionals in Chicago. We played in the ECNL RL league this season. Not sure where I'll play next.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to play Division 1 if I can but I am open to an opportunity to play D2 or D3 depending on the situation and if I will play right away or not. I would like to work in sports so a college would have to offer something like for myself.
