Zellers is a defender on the KC Athletics 2010 ECNL team. She plays right center back for her club team. She has some versatility as well. She could slot in as an outside back in the future. She is not the tallest player on the field, but she is good in the aerial duel. She’s got quick reactions and gets in front of the forward to intercept the ball. She has good footwork and keeps her balance on the ball so she is difficult to dispossess when pressed. Zellers has tremendous upside as a defender and should be on the radar for all scouts.
