About Ben

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I use my high game IQ to my advantage in game. Whether it is a time to pass, dribble, or move the ball forward, I feel I always make the best decision. I also feel when the ball is at my feet more, our team leads to more chances being created, due to my playmaking. I am also very loud and communicate a lot as being the captain leads to a bit of responsibility over my fellow teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality and personality is very positive. Along with the 4 trainings a week, on the days off I often look for extra private training or just getting touches on the ball at home. Whether it is juggling with a ball for hours or passing at a wall and working on my first touch. I often am the first one to practice and the last one to leave, and I love to give everything I have.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a sense of leadership considering being captain, and have always liked playing with a sense of responsibility.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced having type one diabetes up until this point after getting it in 4th grade. After having it for so long however, I have gotten very independent about it and can practically do everything myself now.

What type of college are you looking for?

Definitely a D1 school, I know I have the possibilities to go to a Division 1 school and I will never stop having this confidence. I would also love to go to Michigan, considering it is a Big10 school and is so close to home.
