F Jack Gruen, Homestead, Jr.
A very strong week for the junior forward as he scored goals against state powers Cedarbug and Wauwatosa East in two crucial wins. Homestead recently drew with Whitefish Bay to share a conference title. Homestead is the No. 4 seed in its Division 1 sectional.
GK Eli Nelson, Nicolet, Fr.
Nelson has been extremely impactful as a freshman in net this season. Nicolet earned a significant 1-0 win over Mukwonago where Nelson tallied seven saves for the clean sheet. He also made 11 saves against Whitefish Bay that kept his team in that game. Nelson might evolve into one of the best keepers to come out of Wisconsin.
