Janz is listed as a forward/midfielder on the Michigan Hawks 2011 roster. She is playing as more of a defensive midfielder/box-to-box midfielder at the start of the season. She’s excellent in that role. Sharp in the tackle, covers a ton of ground, and reads the game well. She has a great first touch and can play with a defender on her back. Janz is incredibly valuable to her team in the build-up as she can hold off pressure and makes good decisions on the ball. Her corner kick delivery is among the best in the ECNL. She has elevated her game this season and should be viewed as one of the top talents in the ECNL.
