About Lillian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with an aggressive, fearless style as a goalkeeper. I thrive in 1v1 situations, coming off my line quickly to attack the ball and shut down scoring chances. I’m not afraid of contact or diving in any direction to make a save. I’m also a strong communicator, organizing my back line and keeping the defense connected.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive, hardworking mentality and thrive in high-pressure moments. I’m committed to training and improving daily, put in the time and effort it takes to succeed. I'll fight until the final whistle and put my body on the line for my team. I take both practices and games seriously but I love playing soccer. I bring the same intensity, resilience, and determination to every situation.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I’m very active in my church and religious community, and I’m also a member of Key Club at my high school. In addition, I play varsity tennis and take part in various community service projects and opportunities whenever I can.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills through church and youth activities, where I’ve helped organize service projects and group events. On the field, I’ve learned how to organize my defense as a vocal leader in the back line, giving direction to keep the team strong and connected. As a keeper, I’ve also learned to take responsibility for mistakes, support my team and celebrate their success.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I started club soccer later than many players, so I had to learn quickly and adapt to being a goalkeeper. Handling the pressure of knowing one mistake can mean a goal was tough, but I’ve focused on my love for the game and gratitude for every chance to play. By learning from mistakes, I’ve grown into a stronger, more resilient player and person.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that strongly supports goalkeepers with quality training and development. I want a family-oriented program built on teamwork and communication that will help me grow as both a player and a person, while also offering a fun, supportive environment where I can work hard and enjoy the experience.
