How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a vocal, organized goalkeeper who leads the defense, communicates clearly, and brings composure and strong shot-stopping to the back line.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m mentally tough, competitive, and composed under pressure, with a strong focus on improvement and consistency.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm a continuous member of NHS along with top student in all pre-law classes in my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed discipline, time management, and responsibility through balancing academics, training, and competition.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced challenges with high-pressure situations and setbacks, but they’ve taught me resilience, focus, and the importance of staying composed and prepared.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college with strong academic rigor, pre-law opportunities, and support for long-term goals in the legal field.

Overton took 13th place among the goalkeepers in the state and was ranked 108th overall in the age group. She’s moving up at the club level, going from the Dallas Texans G10 team that competes in the ECNL Regional League to the National League, and represents Argyle in the high school state tournament. Overton does a great job with her positioning between the posts and has excellent footwork, always taking a couple of steps in the right direction before going for the ball, which helps her get to shots into the corners. She’s quick to leave her spot when she has to, and has firm, reliable hands, which rarely spill a shot. The goalkeeper also thrives at getting the ball to her teammates with accurate throws after stopping shots, often initiating transition plays.
