Illinois has quickly emerged as a hotbed for goalkeepers. There are a number of excellent goalkeeper coaches in the state and the pipeline from the state to the national team has never been stronger. While the top talent in the state tends to get the headlines, there is an incredible amount of depth at the position too. She is an athletic shot-stopper who is fully capable of making game-deciding saves consistently. Staszak could improve with her aggressiveness off the line on crosses. Getting the defense in front of her organized and owning the six-yard box is a key step in her development. There is plenty of reason to believe she will make that leap this season with the coaching she is getting at Sockers.
