About Madeleine

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I bring a combination of size, athleticism, and technical goalkeeping ability. At 5'10", I use my length and explosiveness to make high difficulty saves. I take pride in my shot-stopping range – I can cover the net. In addition, I deliver accurate throws, driven punts, and composed play with my feet to initiate counterattacks.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Tough minded athlete - I have three brothers, am a varsity athlete for three sports (soccer, basketball and track and field) at Central Bucks East and love to compete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a board member for Morgan's Message at Central Bucks East High School. https://www.morgansmessage.org/

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As part of being on the board for Morgan's Message, I am working to communicate the mission of the organization across my high school and the community. I'm involved in fundraising, setting up outreach efforts at multiple events throughout the school year and help with the general management of the club at the school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have to compete and fight for my success. I work very hard at school to achieve results; I take AP and Honor level classes to ensure that I am preparing for the next steps in my academic journey and while my main focus after high school is playing college soccer, I work very hard to be a three-sport varsity athlete.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to major in Mechanical Engineering and have been targeting schools where they have that undergraduate degree + a strong women's soccer program.
