Sting Stars highlight South US Club Soccer id2 Roster

The US Club Soccer id2 National Training Camp is taking place in Chula Vista, California this week. The event features 102 players from clubs all across the country. The South region is represented by players from Texas, Colorado, and Kansas. Sting Soccer Club is well represented on this roster with 10 players (seven from Sting Royal, three from [program_tooltip program_id='283497' first='Sting' last='Austin']).   [player_tooltip player_id='338296' first='Iliana' last='Hart'], Olivia Mallory, and Alea Atud were highlighted as players to watch from this event previously. She is a standout at the ECNL level with [program_tooltip program_id='283497' first='Sting' last='Austin'], and had a stellar showing with her ODP team recently. She has been part of US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. Sanders is part of a very talented soccer family with all three girls seemingly bound for the top levels of the game. Shamia has shown glimpses of elite qualities against top competition. She is a fierce force on the field. She plays with speed and power - that combined with skill makes her an ideal fit as a center forward for now and the future.     Nolan is one of the center backs on the Real Colorado 2012 ECNL team. She is also one of the captain's of her club team. She's a natural leader on the field. She's excellent off-the-ball as a defender. She organizes her side and anticipates where she needs to be to shut down the opposition. Nolan has been a key part of the successful season for Real Colorado and should be a top talent at the center back position at this event.     Hunt is one of two goalkeepers on the South roster. Both players are from the Sting Soccer Club - Hunt plays for [program_tooltip program_id='283497' first='Sting' last='Austin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='338289' first='Ella' last='Medina'] plays for Sting Royal. [player_tooltip player_id='348052' first='Stella' last='Hunt'] has impressive athleticism, strong hands, and quick reactions. She is capable of making game-deciding saves consistently. She's a driven player who always looks hungry for the next challenge. She should thrive in this environment.     Some players were moved on rosters to help fill out positions off need in other regions or just for competitive balance. Jackson is one of the players who was moved from her geographical region to play for the South at this event. She plays her club soccer for the Arlington SA 2012 ECNL team, which has four players at this event. Her club teammate Jackie Williams is also on the South team.   Jackson is a box-to-box midfielder with elite athleticism. She is a dual-sport athlete as one of the best in her region on the basketball court as well. She has the competitive drive to thrive in any environment and has a bright future in the game.     Linscomb is a fiercely competitive player who can really play any position. She is listed as an outside back on the roster, but she will likely be utilized in every spot on the field as some point. She is another player who is a dual-sport star. She also plays basketball. Linscomb is a winner in whichever sport she plays because of the all out effort she consistently gives for her team.
