ECNL Girl's Texas Standouts Days 2-3

The majority of the games were played on the second and third days of this event. There was some excellent performances across the days. This was my first time at this particular event and it was a great success given the curveballs that were thrown ECNL's way. Since it is high school season in California most of the clubs were from elsewhere which gave me the opportunity to evaluate the rest of the country. They did not disappoint!    Mack is a big time central forward prospect out of Solar. She has an athletic profile that college coaches drool over. Tall, fast, long and excellent body control. She can run in behind the backline and post up with her back to goal. I can see her climbing up the rankings and attracting some of the best programs in the country in the coming months.     Gibson flashed her pace and power for her Solar side against FC Stars on Day 2. She is a very direct dribbler and works her socks off in transition. Her first touch is good and she times her forward runs very well. If she keeps performing like that it's only a matter of time before she shoots up the Texas rankings.     One of if not the best central midfielder I evaluated at this event. Culbertson is a phenomenal playmaker who has excellent touch and vision. Her ability to find space is uncanny, she always seems to have a plan before receiving the ball. She will have power 4 programs all over her come June 15th.     What a player this young lady is. She was playing Center Back for SLSG Navy against Seattle United on day 2 and she stood out right away. Amazing burst of speed, even when she got beat her ability to recover never let her down. I think she will be an outside back or winger at the next level but is the kind of athlete that you can put anywhere on the field. Scouts were definitely aware of her talent on the sideline.     The TCU commit's talent is obvious. Long limbs, tall stature, and elite athleticism. Technically gifted as well, her ability to slow down and speed up with the ball was very impressive to witness. She will be an excellent fit with the Horned Frogs in 2027.     Tough kid who has amazing technique. The central midfielder is an excellent passer and really good on the half turn. There was a lot of wind during her game against [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] and it did not seem to phase her one bit. She is not scared to put her body on the line to make a play and seems to embrace contact. Very bright future for this young talent.     I was really impressed with the Seattle United defender. Not just with her on field play but her leadership and communication skills. She is a scrappy 1 v 1 defender and has a high motor. Her energy was infectious and would be an amazing asset to any college locker room.     Luu was very good in midfield for Seattle United on day 3. Very tecky player who finds gaps in the opposition's defense well. Played a handful of excellent through balls to her strikers to run onto. Cut off passing lanes well defensively and her transitional speed was very fast.
