After some months, the Prep Soccer 2028 Texas Boys State Ranking was updated earlier this week, with new players being added to the prestigious list that features only the best of the best in the Lone Star State and the existing ones having their positions adjusted. The midfielders are up next:    Arana plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='283657' first='Houston' last='Dynamo'], having recently signed a homegrown contract and made his MLS debut - he also plays for their II team in the MLS Next Pro League. He is the highest-ranked midfielder in the class, appearing in second place overall. He has a special talent with the ball, being capable of manipulating it as few other players of his age do. Arana is a creative and unpredictable attacking midfielder who's at his best when isolated 1v1 with defenders out wide. He uses both feet well to dribble, pass and finish, and also has impressive vision to deliver game-changing passes in the final third. He occupies fourth place among the Texas midfielders in the Class of 2028 and ranks 11th overall in the state. Feliciano is one of the fastest-rising names in the entire country, having earned multiple USYNT call-ups in the last few months. He's very talented on the ball and can play different roles offensively, having the vision and passing accuracy to operate more centrally and the dribbling and aggression on the ball to deliver in a wider role. Guevara returned to the Texans this season after several years with the [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] Academy, where he developed into a highly impactful central midfielder. Excellent in possession, Guevera typically gets on the ball a lot and uses his vision and passing accuracy to dictate the tempo of his team's offense, intelligently distributing the ball. He's also a solid contributor on the defensive side of the game, showing good effort to fight for the ball and shield the backline.     Ochoa is part of the [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] U16 team that plays in the MLS Next League. He ranks 12th among the midfielders and 31st overall in the Lone Star State. Ochoa has an interesting profile and skill set, excelling at both creating and finishing chances from his attacking midfielder role. A lefty, he doesn't need much time on the ball to decide what to do with it and get the offense going, quickly moving it to the attacking players with excellent passing. The attacking midfielder picked up 18th place in his position and 53rd overall in our Rankings update. Mostly used in wide spots, Price is very quick and direct at pushing the ball forward, and his six-foot frame gives him the ability to shield it from defenders and keep possession as he progresses. He's very smart with how he changes directions and very precise with his shots. Price also had solid tactical commitment, consistently dropping back to help on defense.
