Szymanski was the goalkeeper in the [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] ECNL RL G10 team that finished second in the U16 Division. I got to watch her in the first half of a 3-3 tie with [program_tooltip program_id='283311' first='Dallas' last='Texans'] ECNL G10 in the group phase, when she had a strong performance between the posts. Combining good length and impressive mobility, Szymanski reacted well every time she was called to action, benefiting from her excellent positioning to make saves with great consistency. The goalkeeper was always alert and had perfect timing when she had to leave her spot and claim the ball in passes behind the backline. Szymanski also did well when she had to use her feet, moving the ball safely and efficiently.

Diamond and her Coppell FC G12 Davies team didn't make it out of pool play in the U14 division, getting one win and two losses. The team was solid defensively, though, conceding only four goals in three matches. She was very good in the second half of a 2-1 loss to [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] ECNL G12, keeping her team in the game with impressive saves. A tall goalkeeper, Diamond made the most of her length, getting to shots targeting the upper corner with ease, but also showed excellent reflexes and quickness to get to the ground and stop low shots. She made an impressive kick save in a close-range shot and was only beaten in a penalty kick and a tap-in, where she couldn't have done any better.

Webb helper her [program_tooltip program_id='278027' first='Solar' last='SC ECNL'] G11 team win the tournament's U16 Division with an undefeated campaign of six wins, despite playing up. Defense was one of the team's main strenghts, as Solar didn't concede a single goal in their campaign, and the goalkeeper had a big role in it, stepping up and delivering every time her team needed her to. I was in attendance in the first half of their most difficult match in the event, a 1-0 group phase win over [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] ECNL G10, and Webb was extremely solid and reliable every time she had to make a play, be it stopping a shot between the posts or stepping up to claim a cross. The goalkeeper's ability to move the ball with quick, accurate passes was also of great help as her team attempted to break the opponents' press.

Brickley was the goalkeeper in the [program_tooltip program_id='295496' first='Dallas' last='Surf'] 09G GA team that couldn't make it out of their group in the U17 Division after getting a tie and two losses. She was, however, one of their top players in the only match in which they earned points, a 1-1 tie with Solar SC South 09G Cameron. Facing strong, windy conditions, Surf struggled to get the ball upfield, allowing Solar to generate many finishes. Brickley did well in each of them, demonstrating quickness and athleticism to perform diving saves and using her great positioning to deal with long-distance shots - she also performed an impressive stop in a 1v1 play. The goalkeeper also showed good quality on the ball, trying to make her team's buildup play more effective with short passes.
