Barnes is a midfielder on the Bethesda SC ECNL 2011 team. She is a 2012. She’s been outstanding during this campiagn while playing up an age group. Barnes is a silky smooth player who just looks at ease on the field.
Barnes has a nose for the goal. She’s a prolific scorer coming from the midfield. She strikes the ball with exceptional technique. She can do this from the run of play just as well from dead ball situations.
She’s been an undeniable talent for much of this ECNL season. The midfield group is incredibly crowded with this camp – 24 players – but there is every reason to believe she will be one of those talents competing for those prized starting spots with this group.

The attacker will look to get Bethesda on the scoreboard this weekend. Early on, the speedy forward uses quick changes of direction to find space and drive to goal. In transition, she creates separation and forces defenders to recover at difficult angles. As the play continues, her speed off the ball and constant runs make Barnes a threat for any defensive line. By the final whistle, she will be one to watch this showcase.

“Eager for goal” is the best way to describe Barnes’ style of play. Once she sees the net, stopping her becomes a real challenge. Her shooting range is impressive, allowing her to strike from distance or finish tight angles with the same confidence.
Add in the ability to create chances off the dribble, and Barnes becomes a constant threat in any attacking moment.
