About Casey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is as a center midfielder who likes to control the game by moving the ball through the middle. I focus on distributing passes to my teammates and helping the team maintain possession and create opportunities

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is focused and team-oriented. I stay calm under pressure and always look for ways to support my teammates and keep the flow of the game going.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a member of the National Honor Society (NHS) and participate in Athletes Helping Athletes. Every summer, I work at a camp with kids where I help train younger players in soccer. I also tutor students in geometry, which has helped me develop strong communication and mentoring skills.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a team captain, and through sports, I’ve learned how to work closely with my teammates, stay calm during tough moments, and manage my emotions effectively. This has helped me become a better leader both on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Some challenges I’ve faced include dealing with injuries, managing my time, and balancing soccer with schoolwork, which can be hard sometimes. I’ve also worked on building my confidence and taking care of my mental health.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values both academics and athletics, with a supportive community where I can continue to grow as a player and a student.
