Garden State Gems: Top 5 Players in New Jersey’s 2029 Class

The Prep Soccer state rankings for New Jersey 2029 class will be released this week. Prior to the release of hte full rankings, take a look at hte top five players in the ranking. The midfield group stands out from this class. There is a considerable amount of depth in that position as well. Check out the top talent below including two players on the Youth National Team in this age group.    Broad is an attacking midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last=''] 2011 ECNL team. She is also on the US U15 Girls National Team. She previously played in MLS Next. Broad is a skillful player who can play out of tight spaces. She's clever with the ball at her feet. She's never in a rush to make a decision and shows good soccer smarts on the field. Broad is an impactful player at the club level and easy to spot with her her approach to the game. She's a capable finisher off either foot. She's at her best when her team plays through her feet. She's going to be an elite No. 10 in the future especially when paired with a dominant No. 9.     Hollins is a midfielder on the STA 2011 GA team. She is part of the US Youth National Team. She was also part of the Girls Academy Generation Adidas Cup all-star team. She's left footed, athletic, and skillful. She can play as an attacking midfielder or a box-to-box midfielder. She covers a ton of ground and makes quick decisions on the ball. Some of her best moments during the GA Cup event came from the transition moments of the game. She made quick decisions and played with her head up against elite competition. Hollins has a ton of potential and it's easy to see a pathway for her being among the top talents in the country in this class.     Ormsby is a midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283724' first='Real' last='Futbol Academy'] 2011 GA team. She has been part of US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. She was also part of the Girls Academy Talent ID event for the Mid-Atlantic North Conference. She's a pace setter. She can push the opposition into tough spots with her control of the tempo of the game. She can run the game from the attacking midfield or box-to-box spot. She's got quick feet and good skill. She's got the engine to cover the whole field from the opening whistle to the last one. She's been outstanding in the Girls Academy this year.     Moy is a midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last=''] 2011 ECNL team. She can play as an attacking midfielder or a box-to-box midfielder. It looks like she can swing out wide as well based on some previous performances at the US Soccer Talent ID events. She is uniquely equipped to beat players in 1v1 situations. She's keep close control of the ball and shows great balance plus quick acceleration. Moy has the tools to be a star in the club game and continues to impress for her [program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last=''] side.     Center midfielder for [program_tooltip program_id='283407' first='Match' last='Fit Academy'] 2011 ECNL. Part of US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. Can play a variety of positions in the midfield trio. Graceful runner and covers a ton of ground with minimal effort. Casey WANTS the ball. She's always working to get touches. She's done well as the leader of her club team. She's been outstanding in the ECNL this season.
