Six players scouts must know from New Jersey 2029 Rankings

The initial look gives some insight into who is standing out at this point. There will be dozens of players added to the rankings in the future. Aoi was a standout during the ECNL event in Kansas City. She continues to impress for her club team with her skill, quick thinking, and competitiveness. Aoi is a defensive midfielder who plays with tenacity when her team doesn't have possession of the ball. She's like a surgeon with her passing when her team gains control of the ball. She's excellent at progressing the ball up the field and getting it into the feet of her teammates. She's got a strong shot with her right foot and she's a player who thrives in the spotlight. She was a player who impressed from game film consistently. There is a lot to like about her game, but the main attribute that stood out to me was her ability to influence the game on her own. She wasn't reliant on a teammate setting her up - she can finish chances and she does well using her strength to hold off defenders. It's the moments when she pressures the defense into a giveaway that makes her a star at the ECNL level. She is consistently threatening the defense and creating chances with those instincts. Sho might be overlooked as one of the other key pieces of that midfield. She is a defensive midfielder who is clean on the ball and excellent at her ball striking ability. She can rip a free kick with accuracy consistently. She delivers a great cross and creates goal scoring chances with that.
