Top-Level Players from the Beadling 2011G Girls Academy

Beadling Soccer Club -  The oldest continuously operating soccer club in the U.S.   USE THE PROMO CODE almasin30 for a discount on your first subscription   In my quest to promote more Girls Academy programs and teams, the Beadling Soccer Club out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is not only a club formed by European coal miners. It is also the oldest continuously operating soccer club in the United States. The club has evolved to become one of the premier youth development organizations in the country, serving roughly 700 players in multiple top-level and elite pathways.   Players for the Beadling 2011G GA qualified for the GA playoffs during the past 2 years, including the GA Champions Cup in back-to-back seasons. This team also won the GA Mid-Atlantic Conference Championship last year but is trying to find their way back into contention while struggling with a host of injuries. The new conference they are competing in this season is not helping their cause, but it will be interesting to see if this team can find its form and make a late-season run to the playoffs. Kimi has earned national recognition while competing with the U.S. Youth National Futsal team, which competed in Barcelona. Her other achievements include being named to the U.S. U16 Girls' White team for the 22nd Maccabiah Games, which have been postponed to Summer 2026 in Israel. She is a talented and versatile player known for her “strength and poise” as a central defender. Kimi is also a playmaker who can find players in open pockets while creating space for teammates running into attacking lanes. Her strengths also include being a playmaker as well as finishing. She scored a pivotal goal in a 2-1 victory over South Fayette earlier in the season while also providing a key assist in a 1-0 over Trinity. Her clutch performances in both the regular season and in the playoffs greatly impacted her team, and it will be awesome to see how far she can lead her team next season in the playoffs. Here are the questions and her responses.   1. What are three of your strengths as a soccer player?   "I think my three strengths are: composure (able to use my technical ability under pressure and in tight spaces), vision (can find players/make passes that others cant sometimes see), precision (i have a high passing completion rate, good first touch, and good weight of balls when passing into space or doing seam balls."   2. When did you and your parents decide that you would want to be a collegiate soccer player?   "I have always wanted to play at next level! I am really academic focused though and want to do premed so will be working hard to find right fit of athletics and soccer."   3. What are some of the things you are currently doing to prepare for your college soccer journey?   "I do at least 1000 touches on the ball a day and 500 passes on wall. I lift twice a week, sprint 2x/wk, agility/decleration/plyometrics 1x/wk, private training 1x/wk. And i am doing a lot of preparation on learning about different college soccer programs and also their academic programs."   4. What has been your most memorable soccer moment or moments at the state tournament or as a soccer player thus far?   "My most memorable moment was being named to the US Youth Futsal national team!"   5. Is there a club, collegiate, or professional soccer player who inspires you?   "I love Rose Lavelle. She is creative, technical and a difference maker on the field!"   6. Where do you see yourself or hope to be in your soccer journey in 5–6 years?   "I hope to be playing for a college that has amazing academics and that hopefully will continue to develop me as a player."
