Rankings Preview: Early look at New Jersey's 2030 Class

The Prep Soccer rankings for the New Jersey 2030 class will be released this week. Prior to the release of the full rankings, read a scouting report on some of the top talent in this class below.    Argote is a center back on the [program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last=''] 2012 ECNL team. She plays left center back for her club team. She was recently part of the U14 Mini Camp in Georgia. She was also on the US Club Soccer National Training Camp for the id2 Team. She's been identified as a top talent by NY/NJ Gotham FC and called into the Center of Excellence Program.   There is a lot to like about Argote's game. She's a leader on the field. She displays excellent technique defensively - strong in the tackle, reads the game well, and fearless on the pitch. Argote has a strong leg and makes excellent passes. She is also a weapon on set pieces with her aerial duel dominance. She's been a top talent in New Jersey from this emerging class.     Ursic is a center defender on the Match Fit 2012 ECNL team. She is a tough defender who is a leader on her club team. She is right footed and strikes the ball well. She takes some free kicks for her club side. Ursic reads the game well and anticipates where to be for her side. She's a well-rounded center back who can defend on the ball as well as off the ball. She's had some standout moments this season in the ECNL.     Vega is an outside back on the [program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last=''] 2012 ECNL team. She plays right back for her club team. She was part of the US U14 Girls National Team Mini Camp North Region in Georgia in April. She's also been part of the Gotham FC Center of Excellent Program.    She's a strong 1v1 defender. She is often tasked with taking on the top winger from the opposition. She's got quick feet and excellent balance in the duel. She's a two-way player who can influence the game in a number of ways.      Lopes is an attacking midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last=''] 2012 ECNL team. She was part of the US U14 Girls National Team Mini Camp North Region in Georgia in April. She's also been part of the US Club Soccer National Training Camp for the id2 Team. She been part of the Gotham FC Center of Excellence in the past as well.    Lopes can play as an attacking midfielder or a winger. She's excellent on the ball. She's a skillful dribbler who keeps close control of the ball and fools defenders with her change of pace and direction. Lopes is right footed and tends to keep the ball glued to her foot. She's shown the ability to shine against the elite talent in the 2012 age group.      Singleton is a midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283724' first='Real' last='Futbol Academy'] 2012 GA team. She was part of the US U14 Girls National Team Mini Camp North Region. She is a physical midfielder who thrives in the duel and contact. She uses her body well - extremely well for a player in this age group. There are players who regularly bounce off of her because she has such great control and strength. She is left footed with terrific skill. There is a surgical like precision with her actions, but she's also an undeniable force at times too with her ability to run through tackles. Singleton has shown international potential with her game understanding, competitiveness, and skill.     LaBrunda is a forward on the Match Fit 2012 ECNL team. She can play as a support striker, center forward, or winger. She's been part of US Soccer Talent ID events in the past as well as called into the Philippines Youth National Team. LaBrunda is an impact player at the club level. She's a good finisher and a clever playmaker in the final third.     Cobo is an attacking midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='288067' first='STA' last='Soccer'] 2012 Girls Academy team. She is a do-it-all type of player who takes over the game for her club team. She is a force to be reckoned with on the field. She is a willing defender who is capable of getting into a duel on the slide tackle. She's also an aerial dominant player who wins a lot of 50/50 balls. Cobo has scored some absolute bangers this season on free kicks as well. She's got all the tools to be a top player for a long time.
