About Carson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game is built around soccer IQ, work rate, and technical ability. I’m always trying to read the game, stay one step ahead, and be comfortable in tight areas while bringing energy and effort every time I’m on the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to carry a never-quit mindset in everything I do. I work hard, I’m open to coaching, and I’m always looking for ways to get better. I also enjoy being around my teammates and having a good time, but I know when it’s time to lock in and compete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I lead a Christian club at my school and stay involved in my local church. It’s helped me grow in my leadership and in how I serve and support other people. I try to bring those same values into everything I do, including soccer.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a captain on my varsity team has really developed my leadership and communication. I try to lead by example and help keep the team connected and focused. I also have over 600 community service hours, which has shaped how I see responsibility and serving others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At the start of my soccer journey, I was cut from a C team, which pushed me to really change how I approached training. I started putting in extra work outside of club and focused on improving every part of my game. That experience helped me grow a lot and move up into stronger teams.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that gives me a real opportunity to compete for playing time and also keeps me close to home. Academically, I’m interested in studying business and finding a program that fits both my goals on and off the field.
