Day 3 ECNL North Carolina: Players Who Showed Striking Power

Now the tittle might be misleading but on Day 3 many attackers stood out some of which didn't stamp their name on the score sheet. However, they did in fact create momentum heading to goal, assisting teammates and at times found the back of the net. Overall, these players consistently sparked goal‑scoring moments and proved their value in the final third.    Bartlett pressed high, and at times it resulted in winning the ball in the final third. As she set the pace of the game, she looked comfortable with the ball at her feet, and it showed when she slowed the game down. By controlling the tempo and finding her outlets in front of the net, she further proved her I.Q. and striking ability. She created a few opportunities on goal, but her movement stood out just as much.   Her ability to redirect runs when she didn't receive the ball added another layer to her game and kept her involved in every attacking phase making her a player with 'striking power'.     Flecky has shown consistent striking skill and power. Not just this weekend, but throughout the season, she has been a reliable attacking presence. The standout, pressure‑making attacker continued that form today with a smart strike on goal. Recognizing the goalkeeper had come off her line and making the timely chip look effortless. It further solidified her striking quality and the momentum she has carried all season.     Finding the net today with a cheeky outside‑foot tap, her striking power didn't stop there. Macaulay is a forward who demands the ball. Checks in short, faces defenders, and pulls them in to connect with teammates. She does this to create more space in the final third. Her confidence to use her skill and speed allows her playing style to be so effective and a true standout performance.   Macaulay continues to show that she can create chances from different angles and in different moments. That consistency is what makes her a player with true striking ability.     The forward was the key to multiple sequences for the Rebels' attack. Switching on both sides of the pitch, Murillo always supported the ball. She found pockets in the opponents' defense. While in those spaces, she assisted teammates, which is another indicator of her striking ability.   With consistency and hard work, she found the back of the net. Proving to be a player with striking power, showing she can impact the game in both creation and finishing.     Reader was one of the players from an impressive attacking unit in Penn Fusion. The way Penn attacked was very cohesive, playing off one another and firing shots from every angle. Reader pushed with intention, followed her runs, and executed them well.   One of those runs resulted in her finishing off a back‑heel assist from #15 with a tap‑in goal, proving that following the play leads to striker ability. It was a moment that showed her awareness and her readiness to capitalize in the box. Performances like this continue to highlight her striking power.
