NEFC gave up zero goals over four games. There were games when they didn't even give up a shot. They finished the event with a plus 18 goal differential. Wilder, a center back, was a key piece of the puzzle. She shut down a number of attacks. She was in the right spot to make the interception or tackle. A fiercely competitive player, she shined with her two-way play. She helped dictate where the game was played and kept her team in possession of the ball for the majority of the game. She won so many duels during the game that it seemed like there were two players on the field wearing her jersey. Tessa Hims, Alexis Bierschied, Pernille Skulstad, Ella Rowan, and Daisy Roeder were also standouts for NEFC.

Lopez is a clever midfielder who is skillful on the ball.
