About Kiera

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an attacking midfielder and winger who plays with composure, strong vision, and creativity on the ball. I would describe my gameplay as possession based, attack minded transitions, and taking on defenders to create scoring opportunities.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a coachable and competitive player who enjoys working hard, learning and improving every day. I stay positive, encourage my teammates, and strive to bring a strong work ethic to every training session and games.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been involved in community service both locally and internationally. During a service trip to China, I volunteered with elementary school students by assisting in classrooms, helping prepare meals, painting and improving school facilities, building benches, and participating in campus improvement projects. I also volunteer with Lamorinda SC by helping coach youth soccer clinics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing at the Girls Academy level has strengthened my leadership, communication, resilience, and teamwork. Through community service in China and coaching youth soccer clinics at Lamorinda SC, I have developed patience, and the ability to lead by example. I enjoy encouraging others, supporting my teammates, and making a positive impact both on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing high-level soccer, academics, and dual enrollment coursework has taught me strong time management, discipline, and perseverance. These experiences have helped me grow both as a student and as an athlete.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers a strong balance of academics and competitive soccer, where I can continue to grow as both a student and a player. I value a positive team culture, coaches who invest in player development, and a campus community that challenges me academically while providing the opportunity to compete at a high level.
