City SC Clinches First Two National Titles in Club’s History

The Girls Academy Nationals may be over, but the mark left on history is impossible to overlook. Three City SC teams entered the playoffs, and two came away as national champions. The U13, U14, and U16 squads each played a part in this historic run, with standout performances across the board. As City SC made club history, these players stepped up and drove the momentum that defined the Southern California club's remarkable 2026 season. Here are the athletes who helped make this unforgettable chapter possible.   2013 GA White- National Champions    Throughout the tournament, Stainer anchored City's defense with vocal leadership and unwavering presence in goal. She consistently organized the back line, directing teammates with confidence and clarity. Time and again, Stainer came up with key saves in high-pressure moments, helping City stay in control. Her ability to read the play and maintain composure set the tone for the team's defensive unit. More importantly, her determination to win and shield the ball stood out, making her a valuable distributor and key contributor on both sides of the ball for City.    2012 GA White - National Champions      Nelson's performance was instrumental in City's historic run, as she netted two crucial goals. One in the championship and another in the semifinals. Throughout the tournament, Nelson made her scoring power clear, consistently finding ways to impact the game in the final third. Her movement off the ball created dangerous opportunities, while her composure and finishing ability inside the box set her apart. In the championship match, Nelson's goal kept City on top and solidified her talent, ultimately earning her MVP honors. Additionally, her movement and composure made her a constant threat in tight spaces. As a Razorbacks commit, Lisak's ability to deliver timely goals and step up in big moments played a major role in her team's title run.
