Girls Academy’s 13-3 Goal Surge on Undefeated England Tour

The Girls Academy made a statement on their first International Tour, returning home undefeated and proving their skills are right up there with Europe's elite academies. The International Select Team wrapped up the trip with a dominant 7-2 win over Manchester United, closing out the United Kingdom tour on a high note. Over three matches, the squad outscored opponents 13-3, setting a new standard in their inaugural international showing. With a tally of 13 goals and a series of standout performances in the final third, several attackers on the select squad made a real impact. Leading the tour in assists, Hollins proved just how crucial she was to the Girls Academy attack, racking up four in the final match alone. Mazotas was one to watch on this historic international tour, and she certainly delivered. Schaedler demonstrated confidence on the ball, scanning for passing options and threading precise balls into dangerous areas.   She set the tone in the opening game with a goal. That reclaimed the lead for her team against Manchester City with a crucial strike early in the second half. In the third match against Manchester United, she closed the first half with another decisive finish. Further proving her value in the attack. Whether creating chances or finding the net herself, Schaedler delivered in big moments and solidified her reputation as a player to watch on the international stage.     Harper stepped up in a big way as part of the 20-player roster for the Girls Academy's first international tour. From the opening whistle, the midfielder played with energy and intent. She found the net twice in the second half, scoring both goals just six minutes apart and sealing the win for her side.
