Perez was really impressive in the Texans’ victory, standing out against older and much taller opponents. San Antonio City’s defenders chased her for the entire time with very little success, as her quickness and ball control were too much for them. Perez spent most of her time in the attacking midfielder role, but also played as a forward and moved everywhere on the field to get on the ball and make plays, showing no sign of being tired. She was extremely intelligent with her playmaking, releasing the ball at the right times, and fired some dangerous shots on target.
