Saunders is a defender/midfielder on the Union KC 2010/2011 GA team. She can play center back or defensive midfielder. She previously was on the 2010 GA team.

Saunders is a player who impressed during the preseason. The ability to play multiple positions definitely stands out. However, I believe she has the tools to be an elite center back for the future. She reads the game well. Does an excellent job of organizing the players around her.

Her defensive strengths pop from game film. She’s good at playing as an on-ball defender. She can jump on the bad touch. She is also good at cutting out passes into the target forward. Saunders has a high ceiling as a center back.
