Best August Performers in the 3A and 4A Classes

<p>The next group of classes to look at is the 3A and 4A classes. These classes have a larger talent pool to pick from, and this only increases as we move up in the classes. This is the second part of looking at the best players of the month, with the first part being classes <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2026/09/best-august-performers-in-the-1a-and-2a-classes/" data-type="link" data-id="https://prepsoccer.com/2026/09/best-august-performers-in-the-1a-and-2a-classes/">1A and 2A</a>.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">3A</h2>   <p>There have been a few schools with both busy and solid starts to the season at the 3A level, including Mt. Airy and Thomasville. However, the individual performances of these two players have been too good to ignore.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Edwin has started the season in unbelievable form, scoring 20 goals in his first 8 matches. He's a striker who likes to get involved in building up plays, but excels most when he's finishing them. Whether he's making runs in behind the defense or driving the ball forward himself, he constantly looks to add to his tally. His demeanor inside the box is of a player who knows what's going to happen before it happens. He remains stoic under pressure, which gives him an extra edge over the opposition defense and goalkeeper.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Ronald is a phenomenal attacking midfielder who has every offensive attribute you can ask of him. He's been one of the top chance creators of the class, recording 8 assists in 5 matches. Though he plays high up the pitch, he doesn't need to be so close to the goal to create danger. He creates chances from the heart of the pitch constantly, with his precise and well-weighted passes. Though his passing is fantastic, his set-piece ability, particularly on free kicks, is somehow even better. He combines both power and precision to score some of the best free kicks I've seen at the high school level so far. The calibre and consistency of these goals reassure anyone that he's a free kick maestro instead of just being lucky.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">4A</h2>   <p>Plenty of players have been competing toe-to-toe at the top of the leaderboards at the 4A level. With the season having barely started, 7 players already have more than 10 goals, and 4 have over 10 assists. This is only as I'm writing this too, with plenty more players being on the cusp of adding on to that impressive feat. This class is one to keep a close eye on as the season evolves.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Raymond is the first player to cross over into the 20s on the goalscoring leaderboards, doing so in only 8 matches. Though he tends to be shorter than the defenders he comes up against, he actually uses it to his advantage. He gets out of pressure easily, which is all the more useful inside the box. The way he maneuvers past defenders to get a shot off is fantastic. So is his ball striking. He knows how to hit the ball given the context of the play. If he needs to curl it, he'll do so wonderfully. He knows how to differentiate whether his shot needs to be powerful or placed. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Jack is the type of striker who uses his pace and strength to get into goalscoring opportunities. He marks his runs for his teammates before making them, so he doesn't have to rely on his strength. But if he needs to use his strength, he will do so easily. When he's in a goalscoring position, he shows no hesitation at all when it comes to finishing. He's got 13 goals in 8 matches and will undoubtedly continue adding to his impressive tally.</p>
