U.S. Soccer has begun Youth National Team Regional Identification Center trainings in the 2007 and 2008 in key markets across the country. The purporse of these training environments is to bring the best players from each region together for a one-day event with the best players earning a potential spot on the Youth National Team for their respective age group. One of the most recent YNT Regional Identification Center was held in Chicago, Illinois on March 22. The one-day camp includes the brightest talent from the region. Chicago Fire was the best represented club at the training with 17 players between the two age groups. Patruk Stechnij is the next in line of promising goalkeepers from the Chicago Fire academy. The shot-stopper has good size and athleticism for the position. Forward Marius Aiyenero is one of the most exciting prospects of the group. The attacker, born in 2008, already stars for the Fire 07 team in MLS Next play. Midfielder Sang Bogonko is one of the representatives from Sockers. He is a technically gifted two-way player with high upside in a central role. He is one of the players from the 2007 age group looking to impress for a spot on the youth national team. Check out the full rosters for both the 2007 and 2008 age groups below.
YNT ID Center Roster - Boys 2008 Chicago, IL

Chase Adams (Galaxy SC), Marius Aiyenero (Chicago Fire), Bryan Bautista (Sockers FC), Jarell Bonilla (Indiana Fire), David Bruno (SC Wave), Emiliano Chavez (St. Louis Scott Gallagher), Trip Clancy (St. Louis Scott Gallagher), Lorenzo Cornelius (St. Louis Scott Gallagher), Christopher Cupps (Chicago Fire), Domenic Firs (Sockers FC), Kane Garcia (SC Wave), Sutton Garofalo (Lou Fusz), Aiden Goldberg (Chicago Fire), Dylan Healy (Chicago Fire), Justin Heienickle (Lou Fusz), Vitaliy Hlyut (Chicago Fire), Kevin Hornik (FC United), Sam Knox (Lou Fusz), Brody Mayer (Lou Fusz), Christian Meraz (SC Wave), David Molenda (Chicago Fire), Chase Nagle (Chicago Fire), Mason Niedbalski (Lou Fusz), Oscar Pineda (Chicago Fire), Mateo Shinn (FC United), Patrick Socko (Sockers FC), Oliver Sutyniec (Sockers FC), Owen Van Der Veen (Midwest United), Juan Villa (Chicago Fire)

YNT ID Center Roster - Boys 2007 Chicago IL

Aiden Benitez (Indiana Fire), Sang Bogonko (Sockers FC), Sebastian Dabrowski (FC United), Antonio Delgado (FC United), Giovanni Diaz (SC Wave), Drew Diebolt (Midwest United), John DiMaria (St. Louis City), Aleks Duncevic (Chicago Fire), Anden Ellis (St. Louis Scott Gallagher), Jacob Gassman (FC United), [player_tooltip player_id="12613" first="Caden" last="Glover"] (St. Louis City), Chase Herbel (Sockers FC), Adrian Hrvojevic (FC United), Morgan Huff (Lou Fusz), Divinci Huitron (Chicago Fire), Carson Locker (St. Louis Scott Gallagher), [player_tooltip player_id="11240" first="Patrick" last="Los"] (Chicago Fire), Angel Luevano (SC Wave), Nicholas Mitrega (Chicago Fire), Nathan Monreal (SC Wave), Chase Morgan (St. Louis Scott Gallagher), Matthew Nelson (SC Wave), Nicholas Nobles (Chicago Fire), Nathan Null (Lou Fusz), [player_tooltip player_id="11093" first="Aaron" last="O’Reilly"] (Sockers FC), Leonardo Orejarena (Chicago Fire), Ethan Otterberg (Sockers FC), Tyson Pearce (St. Louis City), Thomas Pratl (St. Louis City), Jayden Quezada (Chicago Fire), Patrick Stechnij (Chicago Fire), [player_tooltip player_id="11180" first="Ibuki" last="Takahashi"] (Sockers FC)
