<p class="p1">The U.S. U17 Women’s National Team moved one step closer to qualification to the 2022 U17 Women’s World Cup on Saturday with a decisive victory over Curaçao in the Round of the 16 of the 2022 Concacaf U17 Championship. Captain Mia Bhuta scored twice on two long-range rockets, her first two goals of the tournament. Fourteen of the 20 players on the USA roster for the tournament have now scored at least one goal through the four games so far.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p class="p1">USA is back in action on Wednesday in the quarterfinal round of the competition.
