The New Jersey class of 2024 were released last week on PrepSoccer. The current sophomore class in New Jersey features some of the top players in every club league in the nation. One of the national championship favorites in the ECNL, PDA Blue, is well-represented on the list with players from a couple different age groups on the list.

[player_tooltip player_id="23914" first="Cassidy" last="Corcione"] is the No. 1 player in the class. Corcione is a member of the U.S. U16 Girls National Team that is headed to Europe this month to take part in the UEFA Development Tournament in Sweden. Corcione is listed as defender on that roster, which is likely her best position for the next step in her soccer career. She has the quality in the attack to also play as a winger, but her tactical understanding defensively makes her a special talent. There are elements of her game that is reminiscent of Emily Mason, another former PDA player. Corcione is good with both feet and can fly up and down the pitch. She prefers the right foot, but can deliver a scintillating pass with her left just as well. She is one of the top outside backs in the country in this class.

Corcione is not the only player from New Jersey on the US U16 GNT roster. Forward [player_tooltip player_id="24291" first="Sophia" last="Bradley"] is also part of the team. Bradley is the best forward in the state. She has all of the tools for the next level and beyond. She will be a highly recruited prospect from the class.

PDA dominated the rankings for the junior class, and does the same with the sophomores. Seven of the top 10 players are from PDA. While not all of them play on the same team (club soccer is divided by birth year), they are part of the same club. [player_tooltip player_id="23811" first="Ainsley" last="Moy"], No. 4 on the PrepSoccer rankings for this class, is one of the risers in this class. Moy was a standout for her club team during the ECNL National Event in Phoenix this spring. The midfielder continues to develop her game and has the interest of many college scouts heading into the summer playoffs and events.

Cedar Stars Academy's [player_tooltip player_id="43517" first="Trinitie" last="Maloney"] is the No. 1 goalkeeper in the class. Maloney has been a standout in the club and high school game this season. She is rated as the top shot stopped in the sophomore class in New Jersey. She is the No 6 overall player from the class.

[player_tooltip player_id="43636" first="Regan" last="O'Shaunessy"] and [player_tooltip player_id="43635" first="Aysha" last="Tural"] are two of the top talents from the US Youth Soccer game and both make the Top 20 in the PrepSoccer rankings for New Jersey sophomores. O'Shaunessy is the captain of her side. The defender was an all-conference first team selection as a sophomore last season. Tural is a member of the Turkey U16 national team. She is a technically gifted midfielder who has the potential to shoot up this list this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="43626" first="Hailey" last="Santiago"] is a player who impressed during the high school season as the sophomore finished the campaign with 13 goals and eight assists, which was good for fifth on the team that included fellow sophomore stars Ainsley Boy and Corcione. Santiago plays her club soccer for FC Copa Academy. Santi is one to watch for the future.
