The Michigan girl's soccer rankings for the class of 2023 were released on PrepSoccer last week. The junior class in Michigan includes some of the top recruits in the country as well as some of the best uncommitted players still out there.

The top players from Michigan include players from ECNL, Girls Academy, USYS, other club leagues, as well as the high school game. The state has produced some of the top players in the college and professional game recently and the next group from 2023 looks to be just as strong as any class preciously.

The recruiting battle from the state features a lot of Big Ten programs with Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Ohio State, Minnesota, Purdue, and Wisconsin all landing verbal commitments. However, it is an ACC powerhouse that landed the top player from the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="23225" first="Olivia" last="Thomas"] is the top player in Michigan for the class of 2023. She is a forward with a bright future on the wing. She has the tools every coach wants from a winger. She has the pace to get behind the defense, the skill to dribble past defenders, and the finisher's instinct to bang home the goals. Thomas is a verbal commit for the North Carolina class.

When [player_tooltip player_id="23034" first="Morgan" last="Roy"] decided to call game this weekend... The 2023 @NDSoccer commit is a special talent#TheNationalsWay @GAcademyLeague pic.x.com/zeEVMO2lhn
— David Robertson (@CoachDR7) February 3, 2022

[player_tooltip player_id="23034" first="Morgan" last="Roy"] is the No. 2 player for the class in the state. Roy is the top midfielder in the state. She is delightfully skilled on the ball. She is a wizard with the ball at her feet. She only seems to score spectacular goals. She has been a standout from Nationals for years, even while playing up an age group most of the time. Roy is part of the Notre Dame recruiting class.

[player_tooltip player_id="23185" first="Lilley" last="Bosley"] is the top ranked defender in the class. Bosley is an interesting player from a development standpoint. She has been a center back for her club team, Liverpool FC IA Michigan (formerly Vardar), but has been playing in the attack for her high school this season with some remarkable success. She leads her Stoney Creek side in goals during her junior campaign. The position versatility shows her skill, athleticism, and competitiveness. She projects as a left center back for the next level, and should be an immediate contributor for Michigan.

[player_tooltip player_id="23022" first="Abigail" last="Skiff"] is one of three players from the Nationals club committed to Iowa. Skiff is a midfielder who is excellent on set pieces. She is a hard worker who covers a lot of ground in the center of the field. [player_tooltip player_id="23025" first="Ava" last="Kenaan"] and Sami Glover are also committed to Iowa for the class of 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id="23228" first="Peighton" last="Northrup"] is the top goalkeeper from Michigan for the 2023 class. Northrup is quick off her line and an athletic shot-stopper. She is excellent with her feet in distribution and a real asset for teams looking to build out of the back. She has been a standout for Michigan Hawks for a number of years and earned plenty of accolades for her play in the ECNL. The top goalkeeper is a verbal commit to Ohio State.

Check out the Michigan player rankings for the class of 2023.
