Elliot Policare, Forward, Keystone Athletic 2007
Policare didn’t end up on the score sheet on the day but she had plenty of runs to add to the highlight reel. An outstanding attacker with silky smooth ball skills and the ability to take on defenders in twos, Policare’s presence alone opens things up for teammates.
Emma Fry, Goalkeeper, Keystone Athletic 2007
Going up against a Wasatch SC team that dropped four the previous day, Fry had to be on her A game and she was throughout. Though she couldn’t stop the equalizer she stopped everything else Wasatch threw at her on the day in a standout performance.
Eva Canaveri, Midfielder, Keystone Athletic 2007
Canaveri had the goal to put Keystone Athletic up with a lovely left-footed hit in traffic. Emma Hull did a lot of the heavy lifting winning the ball and setting up the chance but Canaveri’s finish was a chef’s kiss.
Seyenna Flores, Defender, Keystone Athletic 2007
Flores was another key factor in shutting down the Wasatch SC attack. Her 1v1 defending, positioning, recovery runs and passing out of the back made a noticeable impact on the day.
Jamie Swartz, Midfielder, Penn FC Youth Lightning 2004
Swartz has been the X factor for Penn FC so far in their first two games in Florida. Her hard running draws defenders and opens up space for her teammates to work. On Wednesday she found herself in good spots to finish twice in a 3-0 win. On both goals her strength and technique seemingly willed the ball to go into the net.

Liza didn’t have her best game in possession but her defensive bite, relentless pressure without the ball and vision helped Penn FC stretch their one-goal lead to three. On a team with so many weapons, Suydam might be the sharpest when she’s needed most.
Isabel Coy, Forward, Penn FC Youth Lightning 2004
Twice now when Penn FC needed a spark off the bench, Coy has provided it. She nearly found a goal in the first game on Tuesday and was ever so close to opening the scoring when she tracked down a soft back pass. The save set up the open net goal for

that was still a good finish on an open net through traffic but all set up by the disruptive energy of Coy.
Caroline McDonald, Forward, West-Mont United 2003
After scoring a goal in their win on Tuesday, McDonald helped set up an equalizer against Chicago Inter with a back heel that found Dorothy Chesshire for the finish.
Katie Pazdziorko, Forward, West-Mont United 2003
Pazdziorko had a goal and an assist in the first game and followed it up with a goal that may have been a cross but found the back of the net anyway. The goal put West- Mont ahead in the second half but they were unable to hold the lead, suffering a 4-2 defeat.
