A common theme in the Cincinnati area has been undefeated teams with "Notre Dame" in the school title. There's defending Ohio Division I state champion and preseason FAB 50 No. 1 Mount Notre Dame in Cincinnati. And then there's defending Kentucky state champion Notre Dame Academy just across the river in Park Hills, Ky. These powerhouse programs account for five of the 11 players on this year's preseason players to watch list for the area. It would have been six players had one from Notre Dame Academy returned, but she instead is focusing on club soccer.
