The club and high school soccer season is underway. With the kickoff of a new campaign, PrepSoccer brings back the Player of the Week award.
Player of the Week nominations can be sent to jr@prepsoccer.com until Tuesday. The poll for the weekly award will be posted on Tuesday afternoon. The voting will close on Thursday with the winner announced on social media.

Aurora Gaines Aurora Gaines null | F Cambridge (GA) | 2024 State #108 Nation GA , Concorde Fire Platinum 06 – Aurora Gaines Aurora Gaines null | F Cambridge (GA) | 2024 State #108 Nation GA had a hat trick and three assists in the win over Florida Premier in her 2006 Concorde Fire Platinum squad’s season opener on Saturday and finished the weekend 2-0 with a 3-1 victory over Tampa Bay United.
Robert Holcombe, Bahamas U17 National Team – Robert Holcombe scored the game-winning goal for his country in the win over British Virgin Islands at the 2022 Concacaf U17 qualifiers.
Ellie Wilson, Wake FC 08 GA – Ellie Wilson had the assist on the game-winner against Palm Beach on the road last weekend. She also scored a goal in the first game of the season against Palm Beach during the last weekend of August.
Melania Fullerton Melania Fullerton M Allen (TX) | 2023 State #142 Nation TX , FC Dallas 04/05 – Fullerton scored two goals and had two assists for her FC Dallas side, which went unbeaten over the weekend.
Brooklyn Miller Brooklyn Miller null | M Prosper (TX) | 2024 State #198 Nation TX , Solar SC 06 – Miller scored three goals and had an assist between the two wins over the weekend for Solar. Rylee McLanahan finished the weekend with four assists as a key contributor as well. Savannah Tafiyeri scored three goals in the two wins.
Maddie Smith Maddie Smith F Garnet Valley | 2025 State #117 Nation NJ , Garnet Valley High School – Smith scored both of the goals for her high school team in the 2-0 win over Springfield. She also scored in the 3-2 overtime loss to Ridley.
Julianna Millin Julianna Millin F McAllen | 2025 State TX , Sting Austin 06 – Millin scored the game-winner in the 1-0 result against Sting Dallas Royal in ECNL action over the weekend. Emma Johnson provided the assist on the goal, her third assist of the season.
