She’s got that dawg in her. This young woman is very under ranked and under rated. She is rock solid defensively not only in her tactical positioning but her athleticism and her duel winning ability. Nicholson possesses a rare work ethic and competitive nature. She scraps and claws for every loose ball and 50/50. Transitioning is not a problem for her and she will bomb forward into the attack and make plays offensively as well.

Top tier athlete, she can get up and down the field in a flash. She is probably more suited in an outside back roll but seems to be comfortable anywhere along the back line. She breaks lines on the dribble exceptionally. The Colorado State commit is a lockdown defender, I don’t think I saw her get beat once on the dribble. Not bad for a kid who was told by doctors she may never play soccer again.
