The PrepSoccer Player Rankings for the Boys Class of 2025, current sophomores, for California was updated on Tuesday. The rankings reflect the fall season and winter showcase events for the players in this class plus the start of the high school season for many of them.

There has been some movement in the rankings with this update, which includes dozens of new players as well as a couple of players dropping out of the rankings. Goalkeepers Curtis Lynch and [player_tooltip player_id='54763' first='Duran' last='Ferree'] are no longer part of the rankings. Lynch left Sacramento Republic and joined FC Dallas in the off season. Ferree signed a professional contract with SD Loyal - he is listed in the watch list. The state rankings include players with college eligibility remaining.

Check out some of the players to watch in 2023 from the CA rankings.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JG06UeT37mE
