Cristofano has committed to playing college soccer next season at Shepherd University. The Virginia Union goalkeeper is very athletic and makes excellent reads on shots from both long distance and short range. She always seems willing to make the difficult stop in the air, but is also unafraid of having the ball at her feet. She has a booming right foot but can also make the long throw out to the outside to start the attack.
Lilly Clayton
Lilly Clayton
Clayton has verbally committed to playing college soccer in the fall of 2024 at Radford University. Lilly is a bit of jack-of-all trades as she can play at a high level in the defense, midfield, and forward positions. Her speed and her strong right foot make her very difficult to break down and also an asset on the backline when an emergency clear is needed. Radford University likes to build possession through the midfield and so no matter where she plays, she will be a key cog in two years time. Clayton is a member of the USYNT U16 player pool and was a member of the VDA side that made it to the 2019 ECNL National Championship.
Radvanyi has committed to playing college soccer next season at Radford University. Radvanyi has been a force for the TSJ FC Virginia for the past five seasons, leading the side to the top of the Girls Academy League standings. She is an excellent athlete and a fantastic leader, always maintaining her composure despite the pressure. Her technique, in particular how she reaches out for diving stops, makes it very difficult for attackers to find a space to exploit.
Kaitlyn Young
Kaitlyn Young
Young has committed to playing college soccer next season at York College. She is a quick, highly technical player that is comfortable playing either in the midfield or up top at forward. She makes very smart runs off of the ball and can use her right foot to deliver first touches that defenders struggle to contain. York was one of the top sides in the MAC last season and given Young’s skills up top, she should make an immediate impact.
Alison Gardner
Alison Gardner
Gardner has verbally committed to playing college soccer in the fall of 2024 at Fordham University. The 5’10” has thrived under the new side Fairfax Brave, scoring several excellent goals during league play to help the side in a tough South Atlantic Conference. She can create chances on her own or she can also make solid passes to her teammates out wide as a holding forward. Her height and heading will also make her an asset for Fordham on set pieces and crosses into the box.
Newcome has verbally committed to playing college soccer in the fall of 2024 at Marshall University. The Thundering Herd will welcome Newcome’s technical prowess in the midfield, where she has earned ECNL Mid-Atlantic All-Conference First Team honors. She possesses superb field vision and can make excellent runs off of the ball to connect with teammates. Her patience and ability to wait for the right moment will undoubtedly help her get immediate minutes at Marshall and in her senior season with Loudoun and James Wood High School.
