Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Guilherme has been closely involved with soccer and volleyball since his youth, playing both sports. After he became a sports journalist, he continued to work with the sports in his native country, reporting on soccer matches of the Rio de Janeiro State Championship and the Brazilian Serie A and serving as as PR specialist for the Brazilian Volleyball Federation. After working at the Rio 2016 Olympics, he moved to the United States. Guilherme continued heavily involved with both sports, covering the Columbus Crew on Major League Soccer and working with Volleyball World, the sport's governing body, and attending events in over ten countries, including the Paris 2024 Olympics and the 2017 and 2019 Beach Volleyball World Championships. He started working with Prep Dig in 2020 and three years later joined Prep Soccer, where he serves as the lead scout in Texas.
