Nikolai Littleton

Prep Soccer Lead Scout

@AgentNikolai24 @nikolai_littleton nikolai@evolvesportsgroup.com

My name is Nikolai D. Littleton and I was born and raised in Oakland, California. From the moment I could walk it was clear that sports were going to be a massive part of my life. Whether it was basketball, hockey, soccer, football, lacrosse or anything where I could play on a team and compete I gravitated towards.

As I got older soccer became my obsession. I played club soccer for Bay Oaks Soccer Club and Ballistic United. I played high school soccer at Piedmont High School where I am the program's all time leading goal scorer and all time leading assist leader. My Senior year in 2010 I set a school and state record with 50 goals in one season. You'd think all that success at the high school and club level would have lead to a plethora of collegiate scholarship offers. Unfortunately it did not.

I ended up attending Santa Barbara City College a JUCO in central California. I played there for two seasons. My freshmen year I lead the team in goals. In my Sophomore season in 2011 I made first-team all league, and as a team we won our conference and went all the way to the State Final Four before bowing out to Hartnell Community College. After a successful Junior College career I was lucky enough to get invited to pre-season at Gonzaga University as a walk-on I jumped on the opportunity as it was my only Division 1 offer. I made the team and ended up leading the team in assists my junior year. My Senior year the team had a ton of success we won 10 games and going into our WCC regular season we were ranked 19th in the country as well as owning the countries best defensive record. Unfortunately, I tore my left ACL against the University of San Diego in our 3rd regular season game which cut my collegiate career prematurely short as it was too late in the season for a medical red shirt.

After College and recovering from my ACL tear I bounced around professional and semi-professional set-ups. The most successful of which was a 2 year stint at the Oakland Roots in 2019-2020.

Currently I am working as a Licensed FIFA Agent which gives me the ability to perform Soccer Agent Services to professional players and professional clubs when negotiating contracts. I also work with other agencies and collegiate coaches to help with the recruiting process. Where we help find good fits for young aspiring collegiate players and programs based on ability, style of play, and educational qualifications.

I am very excited to take on this role as a scout and writer for Prep Soccer. It gives me the ability to report on something which I feel very qualified to chronicle. I specialize in youth players (male and female) aged 13-18 in Central and Northern California. Although I specialize in this region if I see a player I like playing against a club from this region I am quick to shout them out as well. I can't wait to get started and give you my opinions on standout players from around the country.
