Season complete. Florida Class 3A state champion. School Facts: Private, 675 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Junior Santiago Castaneda buried a penalty kick in the 19th minute and sophomore standout Asher Jones added the clincher in the 68th as Tampa Prep completed a perfect season with a 2-0 state final victory over nationally ranked Ransom Everglades. Jones was taken down in the box to set up Castaneda's penalty kick. The victory marked Tampa Prep's seventh state title, but first since going back to back in 2012-2013. The Terrapins are coached by former University of Maryland standout and pro player Doug Smith. Tampa Prep's season included multi-goal shutout wins over Class 6A state semifinalist J.W. Mitchell and Class 5A state semifinalist Tampa Jesuit. Jones and Castaneda were the Terrapins' leading scorers, and the team also featured a sophomore in goal in J.B. Montague, who surrendered only 11 goals this season.

Season complete. California SoCal Division I champion. Southern Section Division I champion. School Facts: Private, all-boys, 850 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Daniel Gutierrez scored off a free kick from UC Santa Barbara commit Eduardo Villeda in overtime to lift Servite to a 2-1 victory over San Diego champ San Pasqual in the SoCal Division I final. Villeda also assisted Kevin Sanchez's goal that gave Servite a 1-0 lead at the time. The victory capped a stellar postseason run for easily one of the nation's top teams are it claimed the Southern Section and SoCal Division I crowns. Villeda set a school record with 23 assists. Servite was stacked this season, and other standouts included Cal State-Northridge commits Merrick and J.T. Danks, along with Sanchez and Sacramento State commit Justin Faison.

Season complete. Florida Class 7A state champion. School Facts: Public, 4,800 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Jace Meuser and Massimo Natoli each scored twice as Cypress Bay rallied to a one-sided 4-1 state final win over Plant. The Lightning ended the season on a 19-match win streak, which was aided by the arrival of Natoli from the Weston FC Academy program. The victory marked Cypress Bay's sixth state title and first since claiming five titles between 2011 and 2017. Coach Colin Ilgner collected his third title as a head coach of the program. Plant scored first but Meuser responded shortly after and put the Lightning ahead for good in the 38th minute. Natoli's second-half goals sealed the outcome. In the state semifinals, Cypress Bay defeated nationally ranked Palm Beach Central 3-0.

Season complete. California SoCal Division I semifinalist. Southern Section Division I semifinalist. School Facts: Public, 2,525 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Mira Costa, the defending region champ, pushed Servite to penalty kicks before falling following a 1-1 match in the regional semifinals. Brett Becker scored Mira Costa's goal against Servite, and the shootout ended 5-4 in favor of Servite, which went on to win the regional title. In the regional quarterfinals, Diego Rodriguez-Borlado scored in winner in a 1-0 decision over LA City Section champion South East.

Season complete. California SoCal Division III champion. Central Section Division III champion. School Facts: Private, 480 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Fletcher Bank scored on a header off a throw-in from twin brother Palmer Bank to lead Garces to a 1-0 victory over Francis Parker in the Division III final. The Bank twins signed with Stanford.

Season complete. Texas 6A state champion. School Facts: Public, 3,400 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Lake Travis was the Texas preseason No. 1 team by PrepSoccer.com and it delivered a state title, edging Plano in penalty kicks following a scoreless match. Sophomore keeper Adam Schantz was named the state final MVP. Seniors Alex Bethke, Ben Platt, and Bernie Vargas-Lopez made the all-tournament team. Bethke converted the game-winning PK.

Season complete. California NorCal Division I champion, Sac-Joaquin Division I champion. School Facts: Public, 2,050 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Hector Serrano Martin scored twice and Robbie Mora-Arias added a goal as Whitney defeated Watsonville 3-1 in the NorCal Division I final. Whitney started the season 3-2, which included a loss to FAB 50-ranked Jesuit, before rolling off a 20-match undefeated streak to capture section and regional titles.

Season complete. Arizona Class 6A state champion. School Facts: Public, 2,975 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Micah Vasey scored the first goal and assisted the second as Desert Vista captured its first state title since 2018 with a 2-0 victory over upstart Chandler. Vasey provided a header that Kaya Yildirim finished with just under four minutes remainnig to seal the result. This was the second title for Trent Elliott, who was in his first season as Desert Vista's head coach during the 2018 campaign. Desert Vista's lone loss was to nationally ranked Salpointe Catholic, the state's 4A state champion, but Desert Vista provided more consistent during the season. The team even went 2-0-2 during a season-starting tournament in California. Senior Connor McHale, junior Vasaey and senior Yildrim were the team's leading scorers.

Season complete. California SoCal Division I runner-up. San Diego Section Open champion. School Facts: Public, 2,225 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: San Pasqual started the season a rather nondescript 3-3-3. The Golden Eagles then went on an 18-match undefeated run, which included winning the San Diego Open title and reaching the SoCal Division I final before falling to Servite in overtime. San Pasqual's late-season run was highlighted by wins over nationally ranked Coronado, Huntington Beach and Birmingham.

Season complete. California SoCal Division I quarterfinalist. Los Angeles Section Division I champion. School Facts: Public, 2,000 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: South East's season ended with a 1-0 loss to Mira Costa in the SoCal Division I quarterfinals. Before that result, South East had won 11 straight matches and gone 21-1-1 in its previous 23 contests. The lone loss in that run was to Birmingham in a holiday tournament shootout, but South East avenged that result with a victory over Birmingham for the LA City Section title.

Season complete. California SoCal Division I semifinalist. Los Angeles Section Division I runner-up. School Facts: Public, 3,165 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Birmingham defeated JSerra 3-2 before falling to San Pasqual 2-0 in the SoCal Division I regional tournament. Birmingham was led to the national stage by senior standout David Diaz.

Season complete. Texas 6A state runner-up. School Facts: Public, 2,40 students, grades 11-12. NOTES: Plano pushed Lake Travis to a shootout before losing in the state final following a scoreless match. Plano was outshot 16-3 in the match. Both teams converted their first three penalty kick attempts, but Plano missed its last two to finish as the runner-up. Seniors Nolan Giles, Diego Valera Zamora, and Steven Wood made the all-tournament team.

Season complete. Texas 6A region runner-up. School Facts: Public, 3,075 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Keller's season ended with a 2-1 overtime loss to Plano in a regional final, which serves as the state quarterfinals. Keller had an early season, one-goal loss to Lake Travis. In the playoffs, Keller edged FAB 50-ranked McKinney Boyd.

Season complete. Texas 6A state semifinalist. School Facts: Public, 4,350 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: The Woodlands' season ended with a 3-0 state semifinal loss to eventual champion Lake Travis. Both of The Woodlands' losses were to Lake Travis this season. The Woodlands had key wins over FAB 50-ranked Allen and Houston MacArthur. Senior Mason Vezza and junior Jose Miranda were named to the UIL 6A all-tournament team.

Season complete. Texas 6A region semifinalist. School Facts: Public, 2,245 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Eastlake's season ended with a 3-1 loss to Plano in the region final. This squad dominated the El Paso area, topping 100 goals scored for the season. The key's marquee regular-season result was an early season 5-1 win over Frisco Wakeland, a Top 25-ranked squad that won the Texas 5A state title.

Season complete. Texas 6A state semifinalist. School Facts: Public, 3,760 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Seven Lakes reached the state semifinals before falling to Plano 3-2. Junior Hunter Merritt and sophomore Aidan Morrison were named to the all-tournament team.

Season complete. California SoCal Division I quarterfinalist. Southern Section Division I runner-up. School Facts: Private, 1,200 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: JSerra's season ended with back-to-back losses. The first was a shootout loss to Servite in the Section final, then, in a meeting of section runners-up, JSerra lost to Los Angeles power Birmingham 3-2 in the SoCal Division I tournament. Three of JSerra's defeats were to Servite.

Season complete. California SoCal Division I quarterfinalist. San Diego Section Open runner-up. School Facts: Public, 1,150 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Coronado was undefeated until its last two matches of the year — setbacks to San Pasqual in the section final and Servite in the SoCal quarterfinals. The defining win for the team this season was a shootout victory over Torrey Pines in the San Diego Open semifinals, a result that earned the team a spot in the SoCal regional event.

Season complete. California SoCal Division II champion. San Diego Section Open semifinalist. School Facts: Public, 2,440 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Seniors Andrew Mitchell and Elijah Zelkind scored the goals as Torrey Pines capped a stellar season with a 2-0 victory over Redondo Union in the SoCal Division II final. This San Diego power won a pair of major showcase events early in the season: the North County Elite High School Tournament and SoCal High School Classic. Torrey Pines' bid for a section title ended in a shootout loss to Coronado, which advanced to the SoCal Division I tournament while Torrey Pies ended up in Division II.

Season complete. California Southern Section Round of 16. School Facts: Public, 2,450 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Godinez's season ended with a 2-0 playoff loss to eventual section champion Servite. Godinez lost twice to Servite and once to section runner-up JSerra. The team's marquee win was a December tournament victory over Huntington Beach. Senior Ramses Esquivel was the team's leading scorer.

Season complete. California SoCal Division I quarterfinalist. Southern Section Division I semifinalist. School Facts: Public, 2,975 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Huntington Beach's season ended with back-to-back losses to two of the nation's top teams. The Oilers fell to San Pasqual in the SoCal Division I quarterfinals and lost in the Southern Section semifinals to Servite. Servite went on to win the SoCal Division I crown, defeating San Pasqua in the final. Before the loss to Servite, Huntington Beach ran off a 13-match undefeated streak with included wins over nationally ranked San Clemente and Aliso Niguel.

Season complete. Texas 5A state champion. School Facts: Public, 2,100 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Ryan Greener, William Heidman and Hazani Torres scored first-half goals as Wakeland rolled to a 3-0 state final win over Dripping Springs. Wakeland finished second in the district to Lone Star, but this is a program that always comes prepared for postseason play. Wakeland defeated Lone Star in the region final and then won its last two matches for the program's fifth state title in what was it sixth straight state final appearance. Brennan Bezdek joined the three state final goalscorers on the 5A all-tournament team.

Season complete. Florida Class 3A state runner-up. School Facts: Private, 1,120 students, grades 6-12. NOTES: Ransom Everglades' season ended wiht a 2-0 loss to top-ranked Tampa Prep in the Class 3A state final. The Miami-area private school power defeated Florida 5A state champion Belen Jesuit and posted the only two losses on the schedule for regionally ranked La Salle. The Raiders carried a 19-match undefeated streak into the state final.

Season complete. MAIS Division I state champion. School Facts: Private, 1,175 students, grades PK-12. NOTES: Tate Collins, a college football prospect and transfer from perennial public school soccer power Madison Central, scored twice as Jackson Academy claimed its second straight state title with a 4-2 victory over top-seeded Hartfield Academy. Jackson Academy swept its two matches against Hartfield this season. The senior-heavy squad placed Collins, Ben Jones, Samuel Hadley, Banks McNair, Andrew Harrison, and Marcus Harris on the all-tournament team. Jackson Academy's highlight during the regular season was a 2-1 win over eventual Louisiana state champion Baton Rouge Catholic, where Collins also scored a goal.

Season complete. Louisiana Division I state champion. School Facts: Private, 1,150 students, grades 8-12. NOTES: James Couhig scored the lone goal five minutes in as Baton Rouge Catholic claimed a second straight state title with a 1-0 win over Dutchtown in an All-Baton Rouge final. Before last year, Louisiana's top enrollment classification had long been dominated by the New Orleans powers, such as Jesuit and St. Paul's. Max Cavana was named the game's most outstanding player as Catholic completed an undefeated season against Louisiana opponents. The team's lone loss was to eventual Mississippi independent school champion Jackson Academy.
