Season complete. Indiana 3A state champion. School Facts: Public, 2,425 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Penn State commit Amelia White scored the first goal and Sydney Couch netted the second as Homestead held a 2-0 lead until late in a 2-1 state final victory over Top 25-ranked Carmel. The win secured a dominating season for Homestead, which went 3-0 against FAB 50 teams, scoring 11 goals in those contests. For the season, Homestead outscored its opponents 103-11. White, a member of the U.S. Under-20 National Team player pool, led the team with 25 goals and 15 assists. Couch, a junior, added 23 goals and 14 assists. In addition to beating Carmel, Homestead pinned the first loss in three years on perennial power Noblesville. The Spartans also defeated FAB 50-ranked Columbus North 5-1 and posted a 4-1 win over the Indiana 2A state champion, Evansville Memorial. Amelia White's twin sister, Sophia, signed with IUPUI, and Mary McArdle signed with Bowling Green.

Season complete. New York Catholic A state champion. School Facts: Private, 2,350 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Holy Cross commit Olivia Perez, sophomore Chloe Koubel, and St. John's commit Emily Riggins scored the goals as St. Anthony's handled St. Mary's 3-0 in the final. St. Anthony's has won four straight state titles and is riding a 35-match win streak. A state final win over St. Mary's was not a surprise, but the fact it was a shutout is a tribute to the Friars' quality. St. Mary's featured a lineup that included South Carolina signee Shae O'Rourke, who scored 136 career goals, and Clemson-bound Gabby Gambino. St. Anthony's had four impressive shutout victories this year, beating New Jersey Non-Public A state champion Immaculate Heart Academy (N.J.), New York Class AA state runner-up Shenendehowa, IAAM A Conference runner-up Archbishop Spalding (Md.), and the Friars pinned the only regulation loss on up-and-coming New York power Albertus Magnus.

Season complete. Tennessee Division I, Class AAA state champion. School Facts: Public, 2,050 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: South Carolina commit Brinley Murphy scored the first goal, Nyla Blue gave Bearden the lead for good 90 seconds into the second half and Breana Mendoza capped the scoring late as Bearden defeated perennial state power Houston 3-1 to win the state title. The victory marked Bearden's first state title since 2007 and capped a season where the team went coast-to-coast as the state and region No. 1-ranked squad. Bearden posted three wins over regionally ranked opponents and went 7-0 against state-ranked opponents. The lone blemish on the record was a match called a tie when a contest was halted at halftime due to inclement weather. While Murphy, a junior, is the team's top prospect, Bearden also featured recruits Alivia Stott, Becca Roth, and Kailyn Scott.

Season complete. Ohio Division I state champion. School Facts: Private, all-girls, 700 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Senior Emma Frey scored twice in the first 16 minutes, then assisted the final goal as Mount Notre Dame handled Walsh Jesuit 4-1 in the state final for the program's first-ever title. Sophomore Avery May and junior Peyton Kohls added the other goals. Allie Lammers was in goal for MND. The team also features New Hampshire commit Abbi Maier and defender Lauren Fields, a top Class of 2023 prospect. In the postseason, the Cougars defeated five state-ranked teams: Miamisburg, Beavercreek, Centerville, and New Albany. During the regular season, MND defeated state-ranked Seton twice and also beat Mason and St. Ursula, which tied Kentucky state champion Notre Dame Academy (Ky.).

Season complete. Indiana 3A region semifinalist. School Facts: Public, 3,010 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Noblesville's 54-match undefeated streak ended with a 4-2 loss to Homestead in region semifinals in an unfortunate early clash between the state's No. 1- and 2-ranked teams. Junior Ava Bramblett, an Ohio State commit, scored both goals in the setback to Homestead, finishing the year with a team-high 17 goals. Noblesville went 2-0-1 against other FAB 50-ranked teams, in addition to defeating two other regionally ranked opponents. The senior class includes Illinois-Chicago commit Makenna Maloy, the team's second-leading scorer, North Carolina commit Nona Reason, who shared time in goal with fellow Division I recruit Josie Taylor, and Wisconsin-Green Bay commit Morgan Peters. Junior defender Lauren Adam has committed to Purdue. A few more players are expected to commit within the month.

Season complete. Kentucky state champion. School Facts: Private, all-girls, 600 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Notre Dame Academy completed one of the greatest seasons ever in Kentucky girls soccer history with a 1-0 victory over South Oldham in the state final. Xavier commit Natalie Bain scored the lone goal on a header off a corner kick from Ellie Greenwell. Notre Dame Academy set state records for victories in a season (28) and shutouts (25). The Pandas outscored opponents 118-4. The lone blemish on the record was a scoreless draw against St Ursula (Ohio), a team that Mount Notre Dame defeated in league play. The Pandas' key victories were a 1-0 decision over Indiana state runner-up Carmel (Ind.), a 5-0 thrashing of perennial state power Sacred Heart and a pair of wins over South Oldham, which ended 23-3. Macie Feldman and Marina Ruthsatz were the team's leading scorers, followed by Cleveland State commit Eleanor Simkonis and Xavier commit Kennedy Clark.

Season complete. New York Class AA state champion. School Facts: Public, 1,650 students, grades 10-12. NOTES: Thalia Morisi scored twice and Syracuse commit Gianna Savella netted the other goal as Massapequa cruised to a 3-0 state final win over Shenendehowa. Savella and Illinois commit Lia Howard each had a goal and one assist in the team's 3-0 state semifinal victory over Howard. The state final win over Shenendehowa marked Massapequa's eighth state title, first since winning three in a row from 2013-2015.

Season Complete. Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association champion. School Facts: Private, 1,070 students, grades PK-12. NOTES: U.S. U17 Youth National Team member Lisa McIntyre netted the lone goal as Springside Chestnut Hill edged Academy of Notre Dame 1-0 in the PAISAA state final. A week earlier, the Blue Devils held off Episcopal Academy for the Inter-Ac championship. McIntyre, a junior who is soon to verbally commit, was named the Inter-Ac MVP. She was joined on the first team by Syracuse signee Maya McDermott, senior midfielder Lauren Sullivan, and juniors Julia Thomson and Mary Trudeau.

Season Complete. Washington Class 4A state champion. School Facts: Public, 2,160 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Junior keeper Keely Wieczorek came up with two saves and junior Nora Melcher converted the winning kick in Camas' state final shootout victory over Issaquah. The match was scoreless, although Camas held a majority of the play and opportunities. Camas' roster is full of ECNL players, including Wieczorek. Maya Parman was named the leagues player of the year. Seniors Jasmine Whittington, Lily Loughney, and Emerson Grafton along with juniors Wieczorek, Madeline Johnson, Bella Burns, and Anna Mooney were all first-team all-league selections. Loughney has committed to San Francisco. Parman has committed to Seattle Pacific.

Season complete. Utah Class 5A state champion. School Facts: Public, 2,050 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Washington State commit Lily Boyden, playing her first year of high school soccer, scored two goals and assisted on the third as Skyline capped a perfect season with a 3-1 state final win over Lehi. Berlyn Dibble scored Skyline's other state final goal. Boyden finished with 34 goals and 12 assists.

Season Complete. New Jersey Group 4 state champion. School Facts: Public, 1,835 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Junior Alyssa Martinez delivered perhaps the most dramatic goal of the high school postseason, lifting Westfield to a 1-0 state final win over Freehold Township in a clash of undefeated teams. With the clock winding down, Martinez faked to her right, pushed the ball to the left, and launched a rising left-footed shot on goal. The Freehold keeper leaped to make the save and the momentum of the shot carried the keeper back a step and the ball crossed the line for the game-winning score with only 8 seconds remaining. The win marked Westfield's first state title since 1988, and the Blue Devils became the first undefeated New Jersey state champ since 2015. Considering Martinez, who finished with 31 goals, and second- and third-leading scorers Chiara Cosenza and Cat Angel, also juniors, are expected to return with eight other key underclass players, Westfield is a likely favorite to repeat in 2022.

Season Complete. New Jersey Group 4 state runner-up. School Facts: Public, 2,000 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Freehold Township suffered a heartbreaking loss, conceding a goal with only 8 seconds remaining on a shot that the keeper initially saved but the ball barely crossed the goal line in a 1-0 state final setback to Westfield. Like Westfield, Freehold Township was built around underclass players and this team should be in the title hunt in 2022. Sophomore Cassidy Corcione led the team with 23 goals and 15 assists. Sophomore Ainsley Moy (18 goals, 12 assists), junior Kayla Wong (15 goals, 15 assists), freshman Gaby Parker (15 goals, six assists), sophomore Hailey Santiago (13 goals, eight assists), and junior Gabby Koluch (six goals, 12 assists) also are expected to return from a lineup where 96 of the team's 100 goals were scored by underclassmen. All of the teams' goalkeepers also are underclass players.

Season complete. Oregon Class 5A state champion. School Facts: Public, 1,200 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Oregon State signee Lindsey Antonson scored three goals in the final match of her storied high school career, leading Wilsonville to a 4-2 win over La Salle Prep and the program's first state title. Antonson scored 51 goals as a senior, pushing her career total to 139, a new Oregon high school state record.

Season Complete. Connecticut Class L state champion. School Facts: Private, 800 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: St. Joseph capped an emotional week by beating Simsbury 2-0 in the state final. Freshman Sara Parker scored on a header from fellow freshman Alexa Pino's assist in the 49th minute and Pino later scored to account for the goals. But the night belonged to senior UConn signee Caroline Sheehan, who was named MVP after a gutty defensive performance in the Sunday state final. On Tuesday of that week, Sheehan's mother passed away following a battle with cancer. In her last conversation with her mother, Sheehan vowed to bring home a state title. In the semifinal match, Sheehan scored the first goal in what became a 4-0 win and a state final berth. Four days later, Sheehan and St. John's delivered on that promise and brought home the program's seventh state title and first since 2017. With Sheehan anchoring the defense, St. Joseph allowed only eight goals on the season and recorded 17 shutouts.

Season complete. Indiana 3A state runner-up. School Facts: Public, 4,930 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Carmel fell behind 2-0 before Ball State commit Emily Roper scored a goal in the closing minutes in a 2-1 state final loss to top-ranked Homestead. The Greyhounds played one of the nation's most demanding schedules, and the team's losses were to top-ranked Homestead, a 2-0 setback to Noblesville while Noblesville was No. 1 and a 1-0 setback to Kentucky state champ Notre Dame Academy. Those three teams combined for a 66-1-2 record this fall. Carmel tied Top 25-ranked Hamilton Southeastern and regionally ranked Center Grove. The Greyhounds pinned two of the three losses on regionally ranked North Central, two of three losses on state-ranked Guerin Catholic, and a victory over 2A state champion Evansville Memorial. Defender Tamara Smith was key to a defense that finished with a 0.52 GAA.

Season complete. Indiana 3A section quarterfinalist. School Facts: Public, 3,380 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Hamilton Southeastern's season ended with a 2-1 loss to Top 10-ranked Noblesville. Only six days earlier, Hamilton Southeastern played Noblesville to a scoreless draw. The Royals also tied Carmel during regular season play. Junior Tatum Coleman led the team in goals and assists. Indiana commit Olivia Smith was tied for second on the team with goals scored. The Royals were anchored by a stellar defense that was led by keeper Makenna Nickens, who had 10 shutouts in 16 matches and finished with an 0.54 GAA.

Season Complete. Pennsylvania Class 4A state champion. School Facts: Public, 1,200 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Sydney Felton and Kayla Leseck scored the goals as Moon defeated Conestoga 2-0, adding yet another title to legendary coach Bill Pfeifer's resume. Sophomore goalkeeper Serayah Leech recorded the shutout. Pfeifer, the state's all-time winningest coach, resigned as Moon's coach after guiding the team to a state title in 2017 and took on other local high school coaching gigs. He was rehired as Moon's head coach in July of 2021. Pfeifer has a career record of 465-81-22 in 26 seasons with five state titles. In fact, he has guided Moon to state titles in each of his last three years with the program — 2016, 2017, and 2021.

Season Complete. Massachusetts Division I state champion. School Facts: Public, 1,750 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Zoe Graves scored the first two goals and Ema Grant added the clincher as Naick upset Hingham 3-2 in the state final. The victory marked the first state title for Natick, which finished as a runner-up in 2018. Kyra Hacker's corner kick found Graves for a 1-0 lead. Midway through the second half, Graves doubled the margin with her second goal. After Hingham pulled within 2-1, Grant scored in the 77th minute. Hingham scored in the 79th to make it 3-2 but could not find the equalizer. Natick's postseason run included wins over perennial powers Acton-Boxborough, Bishop Feehan, and Hingham.

Season Complete. Massachusetts Division I state runner-up. School Facts: Public, 1,200 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Hingham dug a 2-0 hole and could never recover in a 3-2 state runner-up to Natick. After falling behind 2-0 in the 60th minute, Hingham got back into the contest on a goal by UCLA commit Sophie Reale. Hingham nearly tied the match a minute later, but in the 77th minute, Natick went ahead 3-1. Ava Maguire scored for Hingham in the 79th minute. Hingham pinned the only loss on Newton South this year and had two comfortable wins over Division II runner-up Silver Lake.

Season Complete. Pennsylvania Class 4A state semifinalist. School Facts: Public, 1,775 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Central Dauphin's perfect season ended with a 2-1 loss to eventual state champion Moon in the state semifinals. Nia Chinapoo, a junior and daughter of former pro player and Trinidad National Team player Richard Chinapoo, scored Central Dauphin's goal that at the time evened the match at 1. Moon score late in the contest for a 2-1 victory. The 2022 season was a breakout year for Central Dauphin, which rolled through the competitive District 3 schedule allowing only eight goals in the first 23 matches. The team posted two shutout wins over a Cumberland Valley squad that beat Maryland No. 2 McDonogh, shut out District 10 champion and regionally ranked McDowell, and had three shutout wins over state tournament qualifier Carlisle.

Season complete. New York Class A state champion. School Facts: Public, 560 students, grades 10-12. NOTES: Willa Pratt scored her 23rd goal of the season and junior Anna Rayhill netted the winner as New Hartford capped a perfect season with a 2-1 win over South Side in the state final. The victory marked New Hartford's first state title. Talia Vitullo assisted on Pratt's score, marking her 21st assist of the season. Caroline Sekula assisted Rayhill's goal for her 16th assist. New Hartford defeated New York AA power Monroe-Woodbury 1-0 early in the regular season as the team's marquee victory.

Season Complete. Pennsylvania Class 3A state champion. School Facts: Public, 1,035 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Senior Aly Cooper scored in overtime as Mars rallied for a 2-1 victory over Radnor to capture a third straight state title and secure a second straight undefeated season. Mars is now riding a 63-match (61-0-2) undefeated streak under coach Blair Gerlach. Richmond commit Gwen Howell was one of four players named to the All-WPIAL team, along with Piper Coffield, Cooper, and Leana Cuzzucrea.

Season complete. Utah Class 6A state champion. School Facts: Public, 2,225 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Mariana Regla converted a penalty kick, Belle Christensen and Whitney Garn followed up with goals as senior-heavy Riverton defeated Skyridge 3-1 in the state final. Riverton ended the season with a 14-match win streak.

Season complete. Minnesota Class AAA state champion. School Facts: 2,785 students, grades 9-12. NOTES: Junior Nell Smith scored 12 minutes into the match and Stillwater's defense made it stand in a 1-0 win over Centennial in the state final. The result avenged a regular-season loss to Centennial by the same score. Keeper Hadley Johnson recorded nine saves, including a crucial diving stop late in the match. Smith also scored the first goal in Stillwater's state semifinal win over favored Edina. The state title was the first for Stillwater since 1998 and caps a stellar two-year run for the Ponies. Last year's team went 13-0-1, but there was no state playoff due to the restrictions that were in play during the pandemic. Senior forward Marissa Bonilla earned first-team all-state honors while senior midfielder CJ Fredkove was a second team.

Season complete. Minnesota Class AAA third-place. School Facts: 2,740 students. NOTES: Edina was in the conversation for a possible No. 1 finish until getting upset 3-2 in the state semifinals by eventual champ Stillwater. Edina was led by North Carolina signee Maddie Dahlien, who finished the season with 37 goals and 14 assists. Dahlien was named Class AAA Ms. Soccer by the state coaches association. She was joined on first-team all-state with sophomore Izzy Engle, a major college prospect who ended with 22 goals and 19 assists. Junior goalkeeper prospect Bayliss Flynn and senior Wesley MacMiller earned second-team all-state honors.
