Abigail Kilareski plays as a midfielder for FC Delco G09. During this match, Kilareski showed good communication and hard work. She had a good performance throughout the match making a difference on both sides of the pitch.
In possession, she had good passing and control of the ball. Abigail looked to combine with those around her and had good crosses. She did well to support her teammates at good angles and in open spaces.
Defensively, she stays connected with the other midfielders and gives opponents very little time on the ball. Notably, Kilareski showed that she will put her body on the line to make a tackle and cuts passes well. Overall, Abigail Kilareski is a hard working midfielder that showed consistency and accuracy throughout this match.

Kilareski was with the FC Delco team that ended the event with two wins and one loss. I got to watch them in their first match in Dallas, a 5-2 win over Sting Black, in which she had a flawless performance at right back. A very technical player, Kilareski didn’t put a foot wrong and helped her team on both sides of the ball. She appeared very well in the final third, supporting the team’s offense by either getting to the end line to make crosses or coming inside to operate as an additional playmaker. One of the team’s captains, the right back was also very firm defensively, controlling her area of the field with great efficiency.

Kilareski is a midfielder/defender for FC Delco 09 ECNL team. Kilarski is a midfielder in her mentality. I saw her play as a right center back last season. She was solid in that role, but she seems to always want to drift forward to get more involved in the play when her team is in the attacking half. That’s not a criticism on her game, as she was still excellent. She was the best defender on her team. She is smart in the timing of her tackles and does well using her strength to keep the opposition on her back and away from the ball. She does rush her clearances and can hit the ball blindly forward too often. When she does take a second on the ball, she is a good passer and shows excellent understanding of how to pass through the lines to break the pressure. Kilarski offers a ton of qualities scouts look for from defensive midfielders, but she also has the defending chops to fill is as a developing center back.
