About Adalyn
Expert Analysis
Roshelle Gobin | Prep Soccer Scout
Melansone is a striker who makes timing her secret weapon. She changes the pace of the game, waiting to see if defenders will react before making her move. In the box, she’s masterful at disguising her movements, which leads to clinical finishes and keeps goalkeepers guessing. Additionally, her comfort playing with both feet makes her a true threat in the final third. It’s already clear early in the season that Melansone is the type of forward defenses have to plan for.
