About Addelyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My coaches say I have great field positioning and see the game well. My touch on the ball is solid, and I'm powerful and disruptive on defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a pleaser and don't like confrontation, but I'm also very competitive. I always give max effort, never quitting. I always strive to be the best I can be.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I help my family at a local women's shelter with food. I'm a member of Future Farmers of America, as our family has a small farm. I also attend local planning board and other government meetings/functions.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed leadership, teamwork, and community service skills through my involvement in various activities. In middle school, I was on the student council and served as the president of the Middle School FFA.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being a taller player, I was uncoordinated as a young youth player. However, I've improved my abilities, including speed and agility, and have advanced from the state NCYSA program to NPL, and now to ECNL RL level teams.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a good academic school with a sense of belonging. I appreciate a strong community and welcome a small-town feel, but I don't mind being part of a larger community either.
