The Bay Area Surf standout is a versatile player who can make big plays as a defender and midfielder. As a multi-sport athlete at Menlo School, Addi showed her range as an athlete while playing on the varsity teams in soccer, flag football, and lacrosse. I’ve covered her while she played in her freshman year of soccer at Menlo, and she was definitely one of their key players on defense. I liked how she showed poise while going up against larger players 2-3 years her senior. Addi never backed down, and that style of play transitioned for her at the ECNL level as well as with the other sports. Her ability to make quick adjustments in 1v1 battles allowed her to recover if needed. I’m looking forward to covering more of the Knights’ matches this season and wish her well at UC Santa Barbara.

Bruni is a defender on the Bay Area Surf 2010 ECNL. She plays a variety of positions along the defense plus defensive midfielder. The versatility as a player is impressive and she has had standout moments in each role. Her play at outside back is especially noteworthy. She is an asset in possession. She is excellent with the ball at her feet. She’s got close control, ability to take players on off either foot, and quick feet. Bruni is a skillful, smart player who should be on the radar for scouts.
